About Carmela

Carmela Wark (2002) is a Virginia based digital artist and woodcut printmaker. She graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2024 where she studied Studio Art as her major with minors in Museum Studies and Art History. She is currently pursuing a career in gallery curation.

As an Artist, Carmela is focused on horror related designs inspired by psychological horror, surrealism, and her personal experiences. She emphasizes the exploration of distorted figures and spaces through the lens of woodcut printmaking and digital paintings.
